  • Does Trijour offer paid advertising for businesses?

    Our marketing consists of effective SEO services and InSites to gain lead generating visibility.
    With the exception of our eCommerce websites we do not offer Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising services at this time.  However, we can create a great advertising landing pages and offer social media displays to help with your Google Ads and promotions.

  • What do Automated Responses mean?

    Automated Responses, also refered as InSites, are presets based on a visitor’s actions creating a personalized user experience. The use of InSites can encourage user interactions, notifications, and generate leads.  Turning your website into a better marketing platform.

    Sales funnels is a process where companies lead customers through a series of segments to build interest of purchasing a product or service.

    Landing pages are also standalone web pages used in advertising specifically to generate leads.  Product and service pages are also known as landing pages as these types of pages are search engine optimized to build higher keyword rankings and give a more exact locations for specific searches in the search engine results pages.

  • What exactly is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

    Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of building your keywords and keyword rankings in the search engine results pages (SERPs) through a series of techniques for your website's on-page and off-page optimizations.  Giving your website more authority, visibility, and generating more traffic.

  • What does organic search mean?

    Organic searches result from entering keywords or phrases when searching the internet based on relevance to the search term inquiry as opposed to a paid advertisement (Search Engine Marketing).

  • Can I choose my own keywords?

    Yes.  Our team will run an analysis for top keywords  for optimization along with natural keywords.  However, you know your business and have a unique view of your customers.  You just might have keywords that no one else has thought of.  We will add those keywords not used to ours.

  • What are backlinks?

    Backlinks are links from outside sources (other domains) that point, or direct, to your domain website.  The value of the backlink is based on the authority of the linking website.  The more respected and known the linking website the more value the backlink has.

  • What are guest posts?

    Guest post are articles written and posted on other websites about your business, services, and/or products that link back to your website.  This technique is used in search engine optimization to build awareness, authority, and keyword rankings.

    Local citations are where your company's information is listed online.  Citations generally include the following business information.

    Citations are very effective for building your local rankings.  However, wrong information can bring down your rankings.  It's always good to run a periodic check known as a citation audit to ensure accurate information.


  • What are rich media citations?

    Rich media citations are citations with added video and meta tagged pictures that increase exposure and reach higher on local search engine results pages (SERPs)

  • Where is my website on the search engine rankings?

    When your website is initially published it is submitted to all the major search engines and then the bots start to crawl through all the pages.  We immediately begin building your search engine optimization (SEO).  However, results are not instantaneous and can take up to 90 days before starting to get noticed.  Of course this depends on many factors such as level of competition, age of domain, and past SEO.

  • How long before my website is on the front page of search results?

    There are a lot of factors involved on your website rankings.  Your industry, location, and competition all play a significant part.  But most importantly it takes time to build trust with Google.  Typically, it takes about 90 days.  Though we work hard to shorten that factor considerably through techniques and strategies.

  • What does domain authority mean?

    Domain authority is a measure of the power of a domain name and is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size. SEO gurus at Moz can be credited with the metric known as DA or domain authority

  • What does page authority mean?

    Page authority is an SEO term used to describe the probability that a specific page from your site will be found on a search engine. Page authority is based on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100 and deals with the relevance of information and links within site pages to one another.

  • What is a bounce rate? Is it good or bad?

    Bounce rate is the percentage of a single page visit in which a person leaves your website without browsing any further.  Bounce rate is also one of the most misunderstood metrics.  



    Here is a break-down of bounce rates.  

    A general consensus of bounce rates range:

    26% - 40% is excellent

    41% - 55% is a good average

    56% - 70% is higher than average but probably not cause for alarm.

    Anything over 70% should definitely be evaluated to understand why people are not staying on your website.  However, there are some additional factors that may affect your bounce rate, including single page websites or blogs.

  • What is General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

    On May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became effective, bringing new global data protection rights for citizens of the European Union.  All websites through Trijour are GDPR compliant.

  • How does user experience help with rankings?

    Creating a better user experience (UX) is determined by a user’s website engagement. This is where design, navigation, and content come together in creating a better UX to better retain your website's traffic. Google puts much emphasis on UX by monitoring bounce rates  and session times to determine if your website is relevant to the search inquiry and determines rankings according the that relevancy

  • Does optimizing YouTube videos help my website?

    Building any social media platform does help.  The more followers and interactions you build the more brand awareness and in turn generates keywords through search queries. 


    Understanding the importance of social media is why some of our website SEO is based on keyword boosting your social media platforms.  After all, the stronger your social platforms the stronger your backlinks are.

  • How do I optimize my YouTube videos?

  • What are canonical tags?

    A canonical tag is an HTML code that prevents duplicate content issues with search engines by identifying the master copy of a page / content.

  • What is Latent Symantec Indexing?

    Latent semantic indexing, sometimes referred to as latent semantic analysis is a mathematical technique created in the 1980's called singular value decomposition (SVD). The technique is used to locate common terms or phrases used in searches and implemented within the content for more relevancy in search results.

  • What is Schema and how does it work?

    schema microdata is a markup format also referred by Google as structured data used to categorize pages, objects, and events based on common elements.

    This process is used in many ways to boost search engine rankings by explaining to search engines the exact meaning behind a page, or website.  An example of this process is to detail local business information within a website to establish business name, logo, phone #, and hours of operation for search engine clarity.  Structured data is also used to promote better search engine result displays by adding star reviews, additional important page links and more.

  • What is the difference between designers and developers?

    Website designing is the face of the website.  This includes images, layout, color schemes, and pages.  Website developers are those who have the skills to go behind the scenes and make it all work together.

  • If I already have a desktop website can you just make one mobile?

    Yes we do offer mobile only websites that compliment your current website or a brand new look if you choose.  However, if we're designing you a website anyways why not make it responsive?

  • What does responsive website mean?

    Responsive websites work on all devices by resizing the pictures and content and then reordering them to work better on each device.  Without a responsive website you will need at least two separate websites developed to cover laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones.  This also means more money spent on optimization for each website along with the possiblity of brand confusion.

  • Will the website work on my phone also?

    Our web designs are developed to work on all devices.  This keeps your brand looking the same no matter how it's being viewed and keeps all the SEO working across all platforms as well.

  • What does User Experience (UX) mean?

    User experience (UX) is defined by the interaction one has with a website.  Creating a better user experience is determained by related information, easy navigation, and page loading speed while searching through a website.

  • How long does it take to make a website?

    The design and development process usually takes about 30 days for an average website.  We never want to publish a website that has a bunch of "Coming Soon" signs hanging all over it.  We also want to make sure all the content and search engine optimization is set up correctly as we submit the new websites to all the major search engines immediately to get their bots on the way to go over the website and start getting it noticed.

  • How much does a website cost?

    Our prices vary depending on your preferences.  However, our initial website cost begin at $599 which includes design, on-page SEO research, and development.  We will consult with you prior to and during the design process while also having access to a private viewer where you will have the ability to make suggestions online.  To learn more visit our pricing page.

  • What if I don't like the website design?

    Our job is to make sure we create the right website for you.  Though we've never been asked for a redesign we do encourage feedback and will happily make adjustments.  However, if you just hate the website then we'll create another one at no charge.  We want you to feel confident about your company website as we believe knowing you have a great website builds confidence with in-person sales as well.

  • Do I have to supply all the pictures?

    We have a full supply of high resolution pictures to give your website the best appearance as possible.  However, if you have an office or store front high quality pictures of your business are always better and give a more personal touch.  In regards to any galleries we do not offer any pictures as this could lead to misleading or false advertising.

  • What if I need pictures for my website of my business. Do you offer photography?

    With years of professional photography experience, for a small fee, we will set up a photo shoot and capture some amazing pictures for your website, even if your office isn't the Taj Mahal.  However, if you have a camera, we can help guide you to get some great pictures for your site.  It's actually very rewarding knowing you took the pictures.  Contact us for more details.

  • Can I add pages to my website later?

    Yes.  We understand products and services change over time along with adding more information as fresh content.  Creating ad-ons to existing websites from time to time is generally a free service providing we are not creating an original page or content.

  • Can I easily post my current and upcoming events to my website?

    Absolutely.  There are a few different ways we make this simple.  We can integrate your Google calendar into a webpage where you can update at will from your calender app.  You will also have access to your website through our Content Management System (CMS) where you can update directly onto your website.

  • Do I have to pay monthly service for a website?

    Though we recommend our monthly SEO services you are not obligated to our monthly services and offer a one time purchase websites with no contracts or monthly fees.  We also offer reduced monthly services for updates and maintenance only.

  • What is eCommerce?

    eCommerce is the buying and selling of goods and services online by the transferring of currency through the internet.



  • Do you offer eCommerce websites?

    Yes we do offer eCommerce websites and with many options to help including automated paid advertising to get your products infront of interested people.  We offer three plans with optional extras and always personalized storefronts.

  • I sell things on Ebay and Etsy. Can I integrate them to my website?

    Yes, our websites are designed to integrate whether your currently selling on other sites or want to add and extra spot for possible revenue.
    We have integrated Facebook, Instagram, and many  more pltaforms in to our eCommerce websites.

  • Can I decide to add eCommerce after development?

    Yes. We can add eCommerce and storefront to your website at any time. For a few items or services there is no additional charge to add these features. For larger amount of eCommerce products there are additional setup and monthly fees. With these fees comes many options and additional services that will secure, display, and promote your products.

  • Why should I pay a monthly fee for a website?

    you have options, including no monthly contracts.   Monthly fees include maintenance, updates, and search engine optimization (SEO).  Our monthly services creates a virtually hands-free experience as we continue to monitor your website and ensure you're always up and running smoothly.

  • What is the process for getting a website?

    Consultation:  We'll go over your current status, service options, expectations, goals, and design layouts.


    Work Agreement:  We'll put it all down in writing, so you know exactly what you’re getting. There is also the matter of initial design and development fee. After that we get to work.


    Domain:  If you don't already have a domain name we will help you choose an effective one that fits your business.


    Design / Developing: In designer mode you will have access to look over what we're doing and give inputs to ensure we're getting your message and tone right.


    Engineering:  We'll develop all the pre-chosen automated responses and motion marketing.


    SEO:  We'll go over the site ensuring we hae the latest and best keywording optimizations in place.


    Site Test:  With your assistance our team will go through your website making everything looks great and is fully functioning before launch.


    Publishing:  The website goes live. We then generate an SSL Certificate for data protection, test all forms once more, and make sure all automation is working correctly.


    Maintenance:  Like any great machine your website will need maintenance. If you have chosen to take the wheel you will be given access to start maintaining and updating your own website. If we're taking care of it then we input all your information into our data base to start monitoring, maintenance, and searching for new on-page SEO opportunities.


  • How do I know I'm getting good service?

  • Do you provide Blogs?

    Yes, we provide optimized keyword blogs to build your search engine optimization rankings.

  • Are provided blogs original or reused?

    We only provide newly written blogs to  create fresh content for your website.  You can reuse one of you own blogs by updating with new/updated content.  However, this is the only way we would recommmend reusing a blog post for your website.

  • What is a gap analysis?

    A gap analysis is the assessment of differences between business's information, keywords, and rankings to determine the best course of action to better outrank the competition.

  • Do you provide gap analysis?

    Yes we do.  All marketing strategies start with a keyword gap analysis to better understand your competition.

  • Do you offer videos for websites?

    We offer two kinds of videos.  Our first option is through stock videos, with many to choose from.  For a personalized we offer several options for videos including onsite video filming and productions as we have an extensive amount of equipment to insure you're getting a great quality video.  If you have a video in mind get in touch with us and we'll go over the options and projected costs. 

  • Do I need website security?

    Whether you need security or not Trijour provides SSL Certificates at no additional cost.


    If you don't request personal or sensitive information, or use credit cards you may not need an SSL Certificate.  However, Google prefers SSL certificates and may penalize websites for not offering security.

  • What is an SSL Certificate?

    SSL (secure sockets layer) Certificates are data encryption security protecting personal and/or private information.

  • Do you offer web hosting?

    We provide complimentary (free) world wide web hosting for all of our websites.

  • Do you offer email services?

    We offer complimentary business class email services with our website packages.

  • Can you help me forward my emails to my Gmail account?

    Yes we can.  Once you're signed up you'll have access to our client help center that offers detailed instructions on not only emails, but many more insights as well.  If you still have dificulty we are here to help.

  • Can I get SEO services for my website if I don't have a website through you?

    Yes we can offer off-page SEO for websites. However, it is better to have the company maintaining your website to handle this as on-page optimizations can be made accordingly for an overall enhancement.  Keeping all services in-house will save you time and money

  • Where are you located?

    Our main office is located in Kansas City, Missouri.  Though we do travel much and also work from home when applicable.

  • Can I meet someone in person?

    Yes, we are always happy to meet in person.  Our main office is located in Kansas City, MO but we do travel a lot. If you would like to meet in person, we can schedule an appointment.  However, meeting online is often easier with everyone in front of a monitor.

  • If I don't live by your location how is the best way to go over web designs and marketing?

    We generally don't meet in person unless personally requested.  Our online conferencing allows us a one on one or group meeting where we can visually discuss the project(s) more easily. We will also communicate by email, text, or phone depending on the situation

  • What is involved with an online consultation?

    Here is the only sales advice that is offered.  Websites and SEO take time.  The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be generating leads.


    That being said, there are no high-pressure sales.  Our online consultations go over the details of our services to see if we're the right company for you.  In preparation we'll have some data put together to see how your current website is performing along with some strategy suggestions.  You can schedule your free consultation today.

  • Do I need to ask for my reports every month?

    Your analytic reports are generated and emailed to you automatically every month.  However, your SEO reports have to be manually compiled and are only sent on request.  We can send them monthly, quarterly, or as each phase is completed.

  • How do I make changes to my website?

    To keep your website optimized and running smoothly we are happy to take care of any updates or changes you wish to make through our continued monthly service plans. 


    If you have purchased a website outright and wish to manage your website without our assistance you will have access to our Content Management System that makes updates and changes easy.  No coding experience required.


  • Can I get help with my Gmail accounts?

    We are happy to help.  For basic questions about your Gmail account, Google calendar, or other troubleshooting we have put together a Client Help Center.  However, if you need more help just give us a call, message, or email us.
